Instead of the typical rock-star tale that relives the glory days and gives short shrift to the rest, the former Black Sabbath frontman chose to lay bare his recent medical struggles in grisly detail.

And he relives his glory days, this time as the starting quarterback for the fictional South Georgia Catfish.

“We have wavered so much throughout this whole process, because every time we have a fight with the insurance company it’s like reliving the trauma of that night over and over again,” Feltner said.

He relives the period of his boyhood when his abuela was there to greet him after school and impart to him the cultural heritage he was living apart from.

“I had to listen and relive the whole thing.”
