“I think the big driver of why more tenured workers will see less of a disruption from AI is because of the wisdom and experience that is really hard to codify,” said Greg Vert, applied AI leader at Deloitte’s Human Capital practice.

“I wouldn’t say older workers should be worried about losing jobs due to AI, but I think everybody should be cautious,” Vert said.

“As AI becomes more accessible to the masses, it will create a new type of gig economy, and organizations with a talent shortage may turn to the gig economy enabled by AI to get access to experience and wisdom,” Vert said.
