The operation targeted so-called “intoxicating hemp” beverages, which were banned in September under emergency state regulations because they contain THC, the compound known for making cannabis users feel stoned.

"Given that this phenomenon involved the activation of endocannabinoid receptors, it would be very interesting to see if a stoned animal shows a similar generalization response," says Hill.

“People think I was always stoned or that was me as a human and I was just ad-libbing,” he says.
