Karki on October 29 held the first talks between political parties and youth representatives since the protests, attended by all major political parties including that of ousted premier KP Sharma Oli.

"The claim, which covers the period from 1965 to 2023, details how Johnson & Johnson knew that their talc products contained carcinogenic fibres, including asbestos, for more than 50 years," KP Law said.

"As yet, there's been no justice and no compensation for British servicemen and women," says Tom Longstaff, a partner at KP Law, which is bringing the case.
