African Botanics, a line from South Africa, recently released a pair of products that similarly slough, then moisturize: Café Noir Body Exfoliant, which gently scrubs with ground coffee beans, and Jardin Sauvage Wild Garden Botanical Body Cream, a pleasantly thick product that’s made with shea butter and has a rosy scent.

Expect café noir and café au lait with madeleines and quiche, plus pain perdu with strawberry, lime and basil, and fregola sarda risotto with octopus, from a menu that changes frequently.

Indie online perfumers Ava Luxe and Dawn Spencer Hurwitz both offer perfumes called Cafe Noir and department store brands from Thierry Mugler to Jo Malone have also tried their hand with coffee and tea, respectively.
