Last month, a professor and a prominent alum were sharing a ride to Boston for a weekend seminar about Machiavelli.

The company’s “Meritocracy Fellowship” gave 22 high-school students a chance to skip college and instead join a four-month program that includes seminars on U.S. history followed by embedded work on live company projects.

The fellowship kicked off with a four-week seminar with more than two dozen speakers.

As well as his social media videos, Frank now travels the world giving coaching seminars in places like Lanzarote, Paris and New York.

This circles back to the original premise of Friendly’s original TV seminars and “Breaking the Deadlock,” asking us to think about what we owe our neighbors and communities.
