Designer and critic Charles Jencks is quoted, from his story in Architectural Design magazine: “Goff is so extreme that he makes the rest of the Avant-Garde look like a bunch of prep school conformists wearing the same school tie.”

Speaking on BBC Radio Ulster's The Nolan Show, Education Minister, Paul Givan, said: "Whenever it comes to decisions should I then give the legal right for a child to say I'm going to wear a school tie or not."

The men dragged the teenagers into the living room and tied their arms and legs with wire, Christmas tree lights and a school tie.

"Consequently, we have decided that with the exception of the school blazer, school tie and some PE kit items, all other items of school uniform can be purchased without a school logo," it said.

“What I am hoping for now is just to find her body. I have already accepted that she is no more. All I am holding on to is her school tie which we found in this river stream.”
