By Wednesday afternoon Southern Californians had made it through the brunt of this week’s heat wave with slightly lower temperatures on tap for Thursday and Friday.

After a very slight cool down on Monday, more toasty temperatures are on tap for the rest of the week, according to the National Weather Service.

In Instagram videos from her Venice kitchen, she cheers on residents while giving updates on tap water and power poles.
