Last week he even said in the same breath that an Israeli attack on Iran would help a deal or it would "blow it".

At the start of last week, he urged Israel to stop threatening Iran militarily because an attack could "blow it" when it came to the nuclear negotiations with Iran he's always said he much prefers.

“I don’t want them going in because, I mean, that would blow it,” he said.

"It's ridiculous when it's the best job on the planet pretty much, and to blow it through being childish is really shooting yourself in the foot. But good gigs remind you there is still something worth fighting for."
