He is a parasite on a journey; he is always agamous, and usually bears the name of cysticercus (Fig. 49).

As a feeder on vegetable diet he also harbours vesicular agamous cestodes, which are only found in him as passengers.

The plant, like the animal, is agamous as long as the flower and the sexual organs have not made their appearance.

Linguatul are found in their primary agamous form, in open cavities like the nasal foss.
