Emanuel is also chief executive and executive chairman of the board of sports and entertainment company TKO Group Holdings, which was created in a merger between Worldwide Wrestling Entertainment and Ultimate Fighting Championship.

The major promotions presented throughout the year by TKO and WWE are seen as powerful tools to keep streaming subscribers signed up.

But some investors were skeptical of that strategy and Endeavor has since sold some of those parts, including a move to combine UFC with WWE in a separate publicly traded firm called TKO.

Endeavor has taken steps to try to boost its stock, including a deal in 2023 to merge its UFC business with World Wrestling Entertainment in a new publicly traded company called TKO.

TKO is expected to take over the operation of some of Saudi's major boxing events, including the mooted super-fight between Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez and Terence Crawford in September in Las Vegas.
