Conservative activists are reconsidering what security measures are necessary for public appearances, just as many local politicians did after the Minnesota shootings.

Over the next few days, we are going to hear politicians, commentators and others remind us that political violence is never OK, and never the answer.

“Everybody’s accountable. And we’re watching … the politicians, the media, and all these rats out there. This can never happen again. It ends now.”

As the news broke, politicians from across the political spectrum, as well as right-wing influencers, condemned the attack.

A nationwide curfew is in place and the army is attempting to bring the situation under control after protesters stormed parliament and set fire to the homes of several politicians.
