Her announcement today paves the way for her treading the boards at the Edinburgh Fringe next month with her one-woman show.

Two Emmy-winning alums of HBO’s “Succession,” Sarah Snook in “The Picture of Dorian Gray” and Kieran Culkin in “Glengarry Glen Ross,” have been treading the boards, as has Netflix’s “Stranger Things” standout Sadie Sink in “John Proctor Is the Villain.”

For the first time in 40 years, the artist is treading the boards in Wolverhampton this week for a production of Marie & Rosetta.

“It’s as much fun as it looks,” he says, adding that he can’t really give advice to his former small-screen sibling about treading the boards.

However, he has had plenty of family backing, taking singing and piano lessons as a child and getting a taste of the arts by appearing in pantomimes as a youngster, treading the boards at the Pavillion theatre.
