Powered by Indian’s Thunderstroke 111 engine, the same 1811cc power plant that drives the Roadmaster, Chieftain and Chief bikes, the Springfield pumps a claimed 119 pound-feet of torque.

When Polaris unveiled its three new Indian models in 2013, the new bikes were a combination of classic style and new automotive technology, featuring keyless ignitions, power windshields and Thunderstroke 111 engines.

The variations shared the same engine, the Thunderstroke 111, and a chassis.

The Roadmaster uses the same 111 cubic inch Thunderstroke engine in those bikes, and is loaded with extra features, like anti-lock brakes, keyless ignition, electronic cruise control, a tire pressure monitoring system, and a state of the art “infotainment” system for music, navigation and phone.

This was a thunderstroke to the unfortunate cavalier.
