Now US celebrity and influencer Kim Kardashian is attempting to profit from the extreme bedtime rituals trend - by launching shapewear for your face from her brand Skims.

But face shapewear has split the internet.

This month, Kingsbarn Realty Capital, a Las Vegas firm that caters to private investors, paid $105 million for Vine Street Tower in Hollywood that is fully leased by Skims Body Inc., a shapewear and clothing brand co-founded by Kim Kardashian.

Gone are the stilettos that filled the closets of my youth, gone are the corsets and shapewear and thongs.

Skims, Kardashian’s homegrown apparel company built upon her famous curves and her love of body-cinching shapewear, was on brand — and, finally, her brand.
