Following the two matches in Rawalpindi, the action will shift to Lahore, which will stage the remaining five matches, including the final, said the PCB.

Pakistan will also play at a neutral venue in any event hosted by India until 2027, as per the agreement between the Board of Control for Cricket, PCB and ICC.

Current PCB materials are practically unbeatable in terms of robustness, and they are the benchmark for current rules regarding electronic components, Kleeman notes.

And, on Friday, chairman Mohsin Naqvi said the PCB is not prepared to accept a hybrid solution.
