The lawsuit, filed in federal court on Wednesday on behalf of a Jane Doe, seeks class-action status and unspecified financial damages.

But prosecutors have reminded the judge of accounts from Ms Ventura and a woman referred to as Jane Doe.

“You’re going to be a Jane Doe or a John Doe,” Morrow told potential clients in a video posted to the firm’s TikTok page last year.

Kimberly Edds, spokesperson for the Orange County district attorney’s office, said the office first became aware of the allegations in March, when it received a government claim from Jane Doe outlining the allegations.

They each sued the school district under the alias “Jane Doe,” and each was referred to in court by her first name only.
