Public records show city council members met last month in executive session with Scott Baumgartner, the city’s private attorney, to discuss a “draft remediation agreement,” but provided no further details.

But the Executive Committee took the vote Tuesday without public discussion after meeting in executive session.

The Assembly on Aug. 23 met in executive session to provide the borough attorney direction around mediation and settlement ranges, the statement said.

Metro’s board met in executive session at 3 p.m.

The commission said it would not release the vote because it was held in executive session and is thus exempt from public scrutiny.
