A former funeral director has pleaded guilty to 36 charges of fraud after a major investigation into human remains found at his premises.

Several months after Patricia's death, at the age of 100, it emerged the family had been given the wrong urn by funeral directors who are now the focus of a major police investigation.

When the time comes for the bodies to leave the anatomy centre, the university places them into coffins for a funeral director to collect.

When the child died, it is alleged they initially thought of cremating the body in the back garden of their home before contacting a funeral director.

"I'm appealing to anyone with concerns regarding the handling of cremated remains or pre-paid funeral plans with this former funeral directors to come forward."
