The race to government has yet to reach the half way point but the final result is starting to take shape.

It is possible that some of the 43 constituencies may not have a final result until the beginning of next week.

The final result of this round will be known later on Monday, when votes from the capital Bucharest and from the large Romanian diaspora are counted.
