They followed that up this past May with “Duh!,” their eighth EP and first to debut at #1 on the Billboard World Albums chart.

The song, called What Am I Doing It For?, it became the opening track of her debut EP, Middle Child.

It was their second album in under a year; during which time they'd also released a new EP and a 12-track mixtape, Hop, featuring solo tracks from each of the eight members: Bang Chan, Changbin, Felix, Han, Hyunjin, I.N, Lee Know and Seungmin.

As a solo artist, James released several singles, a self-titled album in 1995 and the 2020 EP “I Am Now.”

“It would be nice to do the odd EP here and there, DJing and writing music under different names.”
