Defending champion Jeeno overcame a bogey-birdie start by reeling off three birdies in a row on the front nine and four in a row on the back nine, finishing 54 holes on a tournament-record 22-under 194 at Tiburon Golf Club in Naples, Florida.

Corpuz answered her lone bogey at the third hole with birdies on the next four, another to begin the back nine and two more at the par-three 16th and par-five 17th.

Jeeno had three birdies on both the front and back nine with a bogey at the ninth to stay in the hunt for the title.

This was far from just McIlroy and Fitzpatrick duking it out for the title though as the tension built on the back nine and at one point four players shared the lead.

Five birdies on the back nine catapulted the PGA Tour's FedEx Cup champion Fleetwood into contention, while Canter's 67 was built on a platform of four birdies in his opening seven holes.
