In 1949, choreographer Jerome Robbins phoned Leonard Bernstein with an idea for updating “Romeo and Juliet” into a contemporary Broadway musical.

In 2022, Millikan had to forfeit four games for an ineligible player and coach Romeo Pellum was briefly suspended by the school.

He found it in 17th century hitmaker William Shakespeare’s famous tragedy “Romeo & Juliet” — only Martin left out the former to empower the latter.

Webb also sang the part of one of Romeo’s exes for the official cast recording and recalled that Martin was there giving notes and collaborating with the cast.

This week, Tony Romeo announced that the discovery amounted to less than they had hoped.
