But from deciding how many loops to include on a coaster, to making sure even the trees blend in seamlessly with an area's design, building a dream world is a painstaking task.

“I lean into the darkness of myself. I like to face the darker aspects of what I find in a dream when I find dark things in my psyche and dream world,” he says.

I knew they were gestures done with folks’ hands, whether that was a hand-painted sign, a sign that’s put up as a graphic for advertising that’s very DIY, whether that meant clothing, style, I just knew: “OK, I’m in my dream world now.”
