levulose

The chief form of this carbohydrate is known as levulose, or fruit sugar.

It is a mixture of cane sugar and invert sugars, as levulose and dextrose.

Fructose (levulose, honey sugar, or "diabetic" sugar) occurs along with glucose in the juices of many fruits, etc.

In the juice of grapes there is from 10 to 15 per cent or more of sugar, as sucrose, levulose, and dextrose.

Lemons differ from oranges in containing more citric acid and less sucrose, levulose, and dextrose.
